Characters: Alphina - balance/resto druid
Spears - protection and retribution paladin
Why we would like to join:
Spears has been playing since beta and myself a little later towards the end of vanilla. We both raided at a progressive level during burning crusade but when the guild (plague born) moved towards a shift in foucs in wrath we simply could not continue to raid and maintain our jobs, real lives and sanity. Neither of us have raided since. We've both been socials in various guilds over wrath and recently joined lost chapter as socials but as they last week made the decision to stop raiding the guild has become very quiet.. to the point that it's mostly just me sat there talking idly to myself. We've recently just got ourselves geared to join heroics but after a very hateful and upsetting experience in a pug I haven't got the will to pug anymore! Recently I've been thinking of quitting as the fun has gone for me.. but then I saw your recruitment post and although not really wishing to raid I plucked up the courage and spoke to Haasker who restored my faith in MMO's. We're really just looking for a new home with similar people who like us have real lives, jobs and other commitments with wow as a hobby for a few hours of an evening for anything fun be it heroics, pvp or guild achievements.
A bit about us:
Alphina: 29 - Previously a primary school teacher, decided to change career before the big 30 so currently a mature student at university training to be a nurse.
Spears: 27 - Works on a rolling shift pattern for a large company as an emergency response officer.
oh, quick edit, we have a rl friend who shares our ideals in how we view the game. Also a mature player, we've notified him that we've applied here so you may see another application shortly.
